Today marks one month into my 23rd year. Adulthood. Oh joy. My mother likes to remind me that she had 2 children by this age... which brings me to my next subject:
Over this past weekend of baby-sitting an 8 yr old, and visiting my aunt, the mother of 7 children... having kids is on my mind. I ponder if I'll be a good mom... which I think yes. Even after really looking at all of the pros and CONS... that's still what I want to do. Be a momma. Patience is key, cause I don't really have a man lined up. Haha. Yes, I fully understand the lack of sleep, poopyness, and screaming... and somehow, I'm like "Bring it on offspring."
Well, until my future folds into the present, I must go on living my life. And fufilling my other passions is a perfect opportunity during this freedom period. Thoreau said, " I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life" and those very words are constantly ringing in my ears. Golly. I want to live with such conviction.
One highlight of this week is that I made my first ETSY sale!! Whoo!
... and I bought a green shirt. I love it. It is mine.
